Our Story
Since 2019
Dr. Nickole Johnson started Excelleration Station Tutoring Service in 2019 because she saw how students’ learning and academics took a turn for the worst due to the unexpected pandemic. The pandemic brought about a decreasing downfall among test scores as a result of students struggling mainly in the areas of writing, reading, and math, but more so the overall objective of students learning performance and progression. Dr. Johnson decided to open this tutoring service, as a tool to help students in grades kindergarten through fifth by offering assistance beyond the classroom. Excelleration Station Tutoring Service provides services to the metro Atlanta area serving all counties nearby involving a diverse student population. At Excelleration Station we want to be able to help with getting your child the educational success they deserve, as we believe a child’s track to success is laid on a solid foundation. With that, we provide struggling students with scaffolded instructions as well as prepare students who want to get ahead on their skills by helping them increase their readiness skills and accomplish their goals for learning.

Hello and welcome to Excelleration Station! I am Dr. Nickole Johnson a highly qualified educator that has been working in the educational field for 15 years as a public-school teacher who is certified in the states of Alabama, Georgia, and Florida in areas of elementary education, middle grades language arts, and gifted. I received a Bachelors of Science Degree at Alabama A&M University in Elementary Education, a Masters of Education Degree at Jones International University in Elementary Curriculum, Instructions and Assessment (Magna Cum Laude), and a Doctor of Education Degree at Trident University International in Educational Leadership with a contraction in PK-12 (Magna Cum Laude).
I have always had a passion for teaching, that which allows me to touch the lives of others. As an educator, I believe in bridging the gap between students’ capabilities verse actual performance. I am well-rounded and familiar with the common core curriculum, rigorous instructions, teaching problem-solving skills, providing students with the capability of being able to apply critical thinking expertise, and much more.
